don’t imagine your otp slow dancing in their socks while the taller of the two hums a tune (terribly) for them to dance to and the shorter has their face pressed into the taller one’s shoulder. don’t imagine it.

being completely srs here - what is ur fave meme

nishinoyayuuu:

my favorite meme is the concept of the meme itself. the meme can never truly be killed, it is akin to a self-sustaining ecosystem; when a meme is created, it nullifies all past memes, but that makes the older memes new memes in and of themselves by giving them new meaning. the new meme is funny, but it will eventually be put on the back burner in favor of timeless classics such as ‘tfw no gf,’ ‘i give you a hamburger,’ and the infamous rickroll. memes are like fine wines, the older they get the more they are worth, and they are given more and more meaning with every new meme that is brought to life. eventually, each meme will become timeless, simply a concept that mere mortals cannot hope to percieve with their inferior imaginations. one by one, each meme will transcend the barrier between reality and unreality, until, like stardust, each and every one of us is a meme deep within our hearts. that, truly, is the concept of the meme.
